This delightful cumulative tale has been a favorite with readers and listeners since its debut. It's a rainy afternoon and Granny is snoring on the bed in a cozy room. I just read this with Bear this week on a perfectly cozy, rainy day :) You know, when asked at the bookshop about some of my favorite kid's book I mentioned Don and Audrey Wood- I just love their spin on things and the illustrations are dreamy.
